EDS Essentials for Physical Therapists
The approach course PT school never taught — so the treatment courses finally make sense.
Most continuing education for physical therapists teaches technique. But none of it works if you don't first understand how a hypermobile body responds differently to load, movement, and treatment. EDS Essentials fills that gap.
What This Course Covers
The neuromuscular and connective tissue science behind hypermobility
Why standard PT protocols fail EDS and HSD patients
The clinical reasoning framework behind the treatment
How to assess, load-progress, and treat hypermobile bodies safely
Co-occurring conditions: POTS, MCAS, dysautonomia, chronic pain
About the Instructor
Dr. Kinsey Winter is a DPT, COMT, CDNS, CSCS, and SMT practicing in Bellevue, WA. She lives with hypermobility herself and built a clinical practice around EDS, hypermobility spectrum disorders, and complex chronic pain.
Who This Is For
Outpatient orthopedic physical therapists who are already seeing hypermobile patients — diagnosed or undiagnosed — and want a clear, evidence-informed framework for their care.
No prior EDS training required.
