Born and raised in Redmond, I graduated from Lake Washington High School and the International Ballet Academy’s Professional Division in 2015. In 2019, I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Belhaven University, but a career-ending injury in my senior year dashed all my hopes of dancing professionally. Fortunately, breaking my leg also led me to the field of physical therapy, where I am committed to paying forward the support I received from therapists while dancing. I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University in Denver, CO, in 2024. I bring the same unwavering commitment to excellence that I always had in my dance career to my practice.

My passion for supporting the whole person is at the core of my work. As a performing artist, I fully understand the demands on the human body and the dedication required to pursue one's craft. While I specialize in working with performing artists and individuals with hypermobility, I also find great satisfaction in helping other athletes, weekend warriors, and anyone struggling to live pain-free lives. The most fulfilling part of my role as a physical therapist is the collaborative journey we embark on, working towards our goals and celebrating our achievements.

Outside the clinic, I dance with the Radost Folk Ensemble, knit and crochet, read, go on adventures with my husband and dog, and ride my mountain bike.

CDNS

Dr. Kinsey is a Certified Dry Needling Specialist (CDNS) with over 200 hours of advanced training in both trigger point therapy and neuromuscular re-education with electrical stimulation. She holds full endorsement from the state of Washington and was among the first physical therapists in the state to achieve this credential. Dr. Kinsey uses dry needling as a powerful tool to reduce pain, restore mobility, and help patients return to full function or sport when other methods may not have been effective.

COMT

Dr. Kinsey earned her Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) credential through Aspire OMT’s nationally recognized program. This advanced specialty equips her with the hands-on skills to assess and treat the entire body—from head to toe—with precision and care. By combining manual therapy techniques with her broader clinical expertise, Dr. Kinsey helps patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and move with greater confidence in both daily life and sport.

CSCS

Dr. Kinsey is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), a credential awarded by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). This certification recognizes professionals with the expertise to design and implement safe, effective training programs grounded in scientific research. With this background, Dr. Kinsey applies proven strength and conditioning principles to help athletes enhance performance, prevent injury, and return to sport stronger than before.
